Mrs. Clinton - put your money where your mouth is

It is unique to America that the looser in Presidential Election goes home and essentially out of public life after losing the Presidential Election. R Nixon is the only exception that I can remember in modern times.

It almost seems that the Presidential Election is viewed as a GRAND PRIZE that comes every four years and if you lose what else is there to do. Even loosing Olympic Athletes continue to contribute to the sports and come back 4 years later to try again.

So, let’s take this year’s election. Hillary Clinton has been in public service (her choice) most of her professional life. Unless she viewed this year’s election for President as a gift from electorate there is still plenty to do. Jimmy Carter showed us all that there is still great opportunity for public service after losing presidential election.

The service can be rewarding both through political and social ecosystem. For Hilary, the political may be where she can make the greatest impact with a Trump Presidency. It can also be more rewarding and benefit Americans most in current times.

Hilary R Clinton has 50 million+ people who voted for her.  There life has not changed for the better after the election. So, Mrs. Clinton’s job is nowhere done.  Similarly, the 50 million who voted for Trump will soon realize that most of Trump’s campaign promises were just political rhetoric. In fact, based on his political appointments so far, he may end up following through on his worst promises.

During the campaign, it was emphasized the Mrs. Clinton has devoted her life to public service – well it does not need to stop unless the only purpose of the public service was quick road to political success.

There are so many opportunities. One of which could be working to give back Democrats control of the Senate and House two years from now.

Go Hilary – prove all detractors wrong. And go Democratic Party – prove that you have learnt something.
